I am old enough to remember when Title IX became a reality. I taught and coached high school girls teams. Until that time the girls athletics did not get fair or equal treatment. We did not get the same allotment for uniforms or equipment. We also did not get the use of the facilities till after the boys were finished. In some cases we had to relocate to another location off the HS campus.Males were dominating jobs and athletics. Title IX addressed the issue of fairness so females then were to be given equal funding and opportunities. After all the hard work to get Title IX, it’s now in the past years misunderstood and misused. Now females have to accept biological men in female sports and spaces or be called discriminatory and hateful for not wanting biological men on their teams or playing against them. Title IX was intended for fairness , opportunities, and equity for seperate biological male and biological female athletics and venues, not those who identify as other genders. Thats not hatred. Its fair.
females not given the same support and opportunities as males!
