Not only does this have nothing to do with public health, it's transphobic and is likely to do more harm than good. Transgender people are just trying to live their lives and they aren't hurting anyone by respectfully using spaces of their current presenting gender. Forcing them to do otherwise marginalizes them and is actually more jarring.

Imagine a completely passing transgender woman (breasts, feminine clothes, etc) walking into the men's bathroom, would that not be demeaning to the woman and shocking for the male users? And conversely a passing transgender man with full beard and chiseled frame being forced to use the woman's bathroom!

This also sets up a dangerous precedent where any cisgender woman who may have manly features may be accused of being transgender and harassed. This has already happened.

This petition helps no one, but spreads hate for transgender people. Because of this, I strongly oppose this petition.
