The petition that the Family Foundation has filed is not only monstrous, but a waste of time for any board of government. Trans women are an incredibly small minority of the population in general and an even smaller population within sporting organizations. The incidents that the Family Foundation are claiming to try to "protect" cisgender women from are largely made up and therefore a waste of time to create such bans and regulations.

Additionally, the assault of cigender women by cisgender men (which is the basis of the Family Foundation's argument) has been happening in schools and bathrooms and homes and public places and hospitals and jobs and everywhere else you can think of without the use of elaborate disguises. We still haven't solved that problem, so why don't we actually spend time and resources in the areas where we know assaults are actually happening and leave gender minorities alone who are just trying to engage in a hobby.
