I am utterly disgusted by the idea that this petition is even being considered.  This is in not about keeping girls safe, or allowing for fair competition.  This is about forcing trans people out of public spaces.  I have nothing but contempt for this ideology and those who espouse it.  The lie about safety is told in the simple fact that they claim to be protecting girls from people they claim are dangerous.  There is no evidence that trans people are a danger to anyone and are in danger when using facilities that do not conform to their identity. 

I recall in the 90's the endless discussion of if gay people could be allowed to be teachers, scout leaders, and youth ministers ect.  This nonsense has been left behind, lets leave this crap behind as well.  We are better than this, and if we are not, we damn well should be.
