While this action may/is germane to children, enrolled in public and private schools, under the age of 18, decisions relating how, where, or when transgender individuals conduct themselves, should be left up to the particular establishment, and not under government intrusion. If a health club wishes to accept, or prohibit, adult transgender individuals from utilizing their facilities, then that should be at the facilities discretion. If an institution of learning, designated for adult enrollment, wishes to accept, or prohibit, adult transgender individuals from utilizing their facilities, then that should be at the institutions discretion. And if that means having any state funding be impacted, then that institution should make that decision. Likewise for any business. Slippery slopes always arise when governments intervene where decisions are best left to the private sector.
