This is not an issue of “protecting” anyone or anything other than bigotry and hatred. It actually provides more fuel to school bullying and is a distraction from the real issues of educational revenue deficiencies. Who suggested this anyway?  Where is their proof of harm from transgendered persons? Could we work on real issues like gun violence and crumbling infrastructure?
