I understand that the Virginia High School League’s Executive Committee recently approved a February vote to stand alongside President Trump and his executive order, affirming that girls' sports should be limited to biological females only.
As a father of three children, I am pleased to know that the VHSL is fully supportive of the president’s decision to do what is only right for our daughters during this crucial stage in their lives.
To paraphrase the sentiments of Virginia Cobb, President of The Family Foundation, we would like to see that Virginia will take the lead to protect “the safety, privacy, and fairness that every female athlete deserves.”
