Description The Board of Housing and Community Development promulgates the Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code. The Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code is based on the companion document to the model building code referenced by the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code. The Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code is cooperatively developed with the Virginia Fire Services Board.
