Chapter Information
Description This regulation sets forth, for all types of pay periods, the method to calculate the legal maximum amount of disposable earnings which may be subject to garnishment, based on the federal minimum hourly rate in effect at the time the earnings are payable.

Goals of Regulation 1. To establish, for periods other than a week, multiples of the federal minimum hourly wage rate.

2. The protection of the public's health, safety, and welfare with the least possible cost and intrusiveness to the citizens and businesses of the Commonwealth.
