Action:
Change from Service Specific Provider Intake to Comprehensive Needs Assessment
Action 5478
General Information
Action Summary |
This action changes the requirement that providers conduct a separate SSPI for each community mental health service, even if the same provider offered more than one service. The CNA will be used by providers to screen individuals for any service offered by a provider. Allowing one CNA in place of multiple SSPIs will support member access to care and efficiency by reducing the time and administrative burden on providers and members. |
