Action Summary |
The intent of this regulatory action is to amend the regulations, to address current camping practices, update terminology, and remove or replace outdated requirements. The goals are to increase consistency and understanding in the campground program, reduce the number of requests the Virginia Department of Health receives and ultimately grants to waive the regulatory requirements, and apply current public health practices industry-wide to promote public safety, while reducing burdensome, regulatory oversight. |
