Action Summary |
The 2015 General Assembly passed legislation (HB1827) which was signed by the Governor to amend and reenact ยง 62.1-44.15:52 of the Code of Virginia, relating to an exemption from erosion and sediment control requirements for routine maintenance projects. The approved Acts of Assembly Chapter 497 exempts routine maintenance projects from the flow rate capacity and velocity requirements of the Erosion and Sediment Control Law. This exemption is consistent with the exemption for similar routine maintenance projects under the Virginia Stormwater Management Program. |
