Action:
Repeal Exemptions Regulation
Action 3884

[Withdrawn 2/7/2013]
General Information
Action Summary Public Law 103-286 requires that payments made to victims of Nazi persecution be disregarded when determining eligibility and amount of benefit for any Federal or federally assisted program which provides benefits or services based, in whole or in part, on need. This disregard has been incorporated into guidance for public assistance programs in Virginia, as defined in §63.2 -100, therefore, the regulation is not necessary. Repeal of this unnecessary regulation is in keeping with the Governor’s Regulatory Reform Initiative
