These admendments are being made to lift the requirement that horses with common ties through ownership must be coupled in Thoroughbred stakes races with purse amounts of $50,000 or higher. These amendments will make the regulations in Virginia more consistent with those of other jurisdictions in the Mid-Atlantic region. |
