The updates to this document (DMAS' Psychiatric Services Manual, Chapter 6) remove outdated language and update text.

The purposes of the changes to these documents (DMAS' Nursing Facility Provider Manual, Chapters 7, 9 and 10) are to entirely delete Chapters 7 and 9 because they are out of date. Chapter 10 is being substantially shortened to provide links to VAC sections rather than the text of VAC sections.

The purposes of the changes to DMAS' Nursing Facility Provider Manual (Chapter 12) are to remove COVID-19 specific language that no longer applies and to direct providers to the DMAS website for specific methodology-related documents.

The purpose of these revisions is to (1) update and clarify text in Chapter 4 of DMAS' Pharmacy Manual to reflect current DMAS practices and (2) provide a new Supplement to DMAS' Pharmacy and Practitioner Manuals around Pharmacists as Providers, pursuant to Senate Bill 1538 of the 2023 General Assembly.

The changes in this document (DMAS’ Durable Medical Equipment Manual, Chapter 4) include: (1) coverage for Complex Rehabilitation Technology for members living in nursing facilities was added and (2) language that pertains to the Face to Face HCPCS code list, DMAS’ managed care programs, Enteral Nutrition, and Respiratory was updated.
