DPOR has previously posted to Virginia Regulatory Town Hall many agency policies. These documents are included in the agency’s listing of guidance documents. These documents pertain to DPOR and its operations generally and are not regulatory in nature. This action will remove the following guidance documents from Virginia Regulatory Town Hall: • Policy #100-03 – Employee Use of Social Media. This policy has been discontinued. • Policy #100-09 – Gifts and Honoraria. This policy only pertains to internal management of agency personnel. This document falls outside the meaning of “guidance document” in §§ 2.2-4001 and 2.2-4101 of the Code of Virginia. • Policy #100-19 – Ethics. This policy only pertains to internal management of agency personnel. This document falls outside the meaning of “guidance document” in §§ 2.2-4001 and 2.2-4101 of the Code of Virginia. • Policy #500-01 – Purchasing. This policy only pertains to internal management of agency procurement functions. This document falls outside the meaning of “guidance document” in §§ 2.2-4001 and 2.2-4101 of the Code of Virginia. • Policy #800-03 – Random Inspections of Board for Barbers & Cosmetology Licensees. This policy has been discontinued.
