Stormwater Management Regulations [4 VAC 50 ? 60]

As a regular user of the Potomac River, for bird-watching and recreational boating, I am writing to submit comments on the proposed amendments to Parts I, II, and III of the Virginia Stormwater Management Program Permit Regulations  to address water quality and quantity and local stormwater management program criteria.

I strongly support the propsed efforts to protect our watershed from degradation due to post-construction stormwater runoff.

Although this is probably only one of many strategies that must be implemented if we are really going to clean up our rivers and streams, and the Chesapeake Bay, it is an important one.

I look forward to passage and implemntation in the near future.

Sincerely,

Christopher H. Lynt, Attorney At Law
