It is imperative that this legislation get passed without delay. Construction erosion and chemicals being washed into the Shenandoah River will poison it and ruin the recreational value. Plus, such pollution will add to the already seriously degraded condition of the entire Bay Region. As a legislator in Virginia, you need to look after the interests of our State's beauty and health. Managing construction runoff is just one more important way of doing that.
