I do support trying to make sure kids have a safe & healthy school life but this is not the way to gain it. The rights & opinions of MANY groups of people have been taken away or not even considered with this. If you have to push legislation quietly then you're not doing the right thing. Parents should have rights & the rights that are taken away with this is absolutely wrong, public schools do not have time or resources to parent AND teach EVERY student, this is a problem already.
It would be much more productive to teach respect. I respect you are trans but I don't have to agree with it as long as I respect you as a human being & treat you accordingly. You don't have to accept my opinion on the subject but if you have learned respect then you'll respect I have a different opinion. This level of respect will carry kids much farther in life than making them resent each other for some being treated differently.
