Continuing Education is an overburden to selp-deciplined learner

There are a lot of good materials you can get from books and on the internet. I like to study by myself to hone my skill and keep up with the technical trend in my practicing field. I also attended some seminars that offered continuing education credit. Most of these were just general information. Some of the topics I even know better than the instructors.

I think the projects a professional engineer conduct should tell the truth. I don't like the idea to mandate CE.
