I strongly support this.
There are tons of reports noting the chronic harassment of transgendered children (and adults alike) and just as many that note the suicide rates due to the harassment. I read a lot of these comments prior to commenting myself and it’s sickening how many people opposing this say they want to “keep things normal” and “don’t want them near their children.”
These are children with legitimate identities and the people afraid of change are trying to delegitimize that. That takes away from the potential they have to move forward. Bigotry has no place anywhere but especially not in the education system. Protect trans kids forever.
