It is long overdue to institute this requirement. Engineer Knowledge is constantly expanding and giving our busy schedules, this is one way to make us stop and “smell the roses” . I also understand, adding this task to our schedule will not make our life easier. The critical part is to make it worthwhile and not a waste of time.

I hope the our Board will carefully evaluate  the related experiences such as the ASCE discussions on "improving the profession through additional education”,  the experience of other State Boards on this topic, as well as the experience other professional associations like the Engineers and Surveyors Institute (ESI) in north Virginia  to help create a model policy
