When I sat for the exam, I did so knowing that continuing education requirements would not be needed.  Nonetheless, I stay very current in my field by going to work and practicing it 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week.

Additional requirements are not necessary and inconcruent with the terms under which I received my license.  I suggest making it clear to those taking the exam that they will be required to take further courses to maintain it, and those not notified as part of the exam process be GRANDFATHERED and not required to take further courses.
