Engineering CE has little worth

I already am working 60+ hours a week, and am required to attend approximately 320 hours of training a year to maintain my Senior Reactor Operator license at a nuclear power plant.  If you must include additional demands for us to maintain the PE, at least consider accepting other forms of continuing education required by our employment to meet this demand in lieu of having to travel long distances to sit through a class on some topic which probably has little application for our day-to-day work.
