In order to be competitive as an engineer you must be current on the latest technology in the field.  In other words, if I am not current on technology I don't make a living.  There is no need for the government to regulate CE!

Just a bunch of politicians who want to make themselves feel good.  I vote we need CE for lawyers, since most politicians are lawyers...I wonder how they would feel about that.
