CE requirements serve politics not people

Ce credits are a popular political move, but while the idea is applauded, the execution is condemned.  Private sector engineers stay sharp or go out of business; simple free economy business practice.  Continuing education occurs every time local government changes a code that affects our designs/plan approval.  Save this idea for the day after a standardized set of courses exists, with or without the luncheon.
