Incomplete Continuing Education

Administrative accommodations should be written into the requirements to allow for a Professional who through circumstances beyond his control is unable to achieve the 16 hours required during the 2 year registration period.  This could consist of a conditional registration requiring completion of the previous periods requirements along with the requirements of the current period.  The conditional registration could expire one year after issuance in which period the past due hours must be completed.  Other states use such a method to accommodate unique circumstances.

No one likes to have additional burden placed on them either financial or time.  Let's face it though, who wants to employ a Professional that hasn't had any education since the day they earned their degree or became registered?  Not me.
