I strongly recommend the continued licensure of landscape architects in Virginia by DPOR. 

Landscape architects provide a vital role in the design of all types of outdoor areas. The training and education required to obtain licensure ensures that individuals have the tools needed to practise. The state of Virginia needs to continue licensing Landscape Architects so that qualifying individuals can practice and seal plans for commercial site’s layout, grading and drainage. They provide a critical role and perspective in the design of a wide variety of projects including subdivisions and commercial property of all kinds including retail, office, industrial, mining and multi use.
