My name is Chad Wilkey and I live in Atlanta GA I am a Design Director and work on projects across the UA but do a considerable amount of work in the state of Virginia with my team based in Richmond and Arlington. I write this comment in STRONG support of the continued regulation of the interior design profession in Virginia.  

It is clear that eliminating the regulation of Interior Design would gravely harm and undermine Virginia Certified Interior Designers. 

Protecting Registered interior designers does not harm non-registered designers it only limits the opportunities for the registered designer by excluding them from boards, federal contracts and other related opportunities. thanks for your time
