Required CEU credits for Engineers

I have no problem with the requirements of continuing education for Engineers or any Professional.  I would like to be able to use credits from other states that have a similar requirement.  I am now required to have 8 CEU plus hours in KY and WV for my PE and PLS.  I would like those to count toward the requred hours in VA. I understand if you require some sort of standards and ethics every four years or so that I may have to have that done in VA since Standards could be state specific
