No Continuing Education Required

Virginia does not need to jump on the continuing education bandwagon for P.E.s.  Just because other states require it, look at what gets counted for credit.  Having attended numerous seminars and conferences where credits are available toward such requirements by filling out a form verifying attendance, this is a waste of time and money.  These programs serve no educational purpose (just look at the variety of seminars available for credit) and are actually a "jobs program" for those offering the training.  Having a program just to say your state puts demands on P.E.s to stay current really serves no purpose except a bureaucratic one.  We do not need this requirement.
