I recommend No / Continuing education not necessary for those doing current engineering work.

I strongly recommend no for this proposal.  My reasons are as follows: (1) I perform engineering work that permits me to currently maintain my knowledge of Mechanical Engineering practices within the Company (Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding - Newport News), (2) As a qualified Navy Chief Engineer (NAVSEA 08), I have utilized this past active duty and Reserve Engineering Duty Officer experience to interact and communicate with the Navy on techncial requirements, ship specifications, and calculations.
