Generators

To prohibit use of generators in state parks would deny my access using my camper. My medical conditions require that my medications, insulin and adalimumab, be kept refrigerated. In the event of not having shore power available, it is necessary to have power to my refrigerator during the daylight hours to keep the refrigerator cold. properly cooled, the refrigerator will hold its low temperatures over night. In addition to the medicine, I also use a bpap machine which runs off my battery at night. The generator is needed to keep the battery charged. I have solar panels but they do not produce sufficient electricity to keep the battery charged. Failure to have a working bpap, not cpap, puts undue pressure on my cardio weaknesses. I strongly suspect that a ban on generators in state parks would be in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. i have spent 5 months camping since July 2018. Only one time for about 2 hours did someone run a generator past normal quiet times (10 pm to 7 am), and that was a mistake. You are making a rule foe which there is no need. You can limit the sound of generators by limiting the decibels they produce. Honda EU3000i are very quiet.
