No to continuing education rule change for Architects

Continuing education for Architects is a waste of time and resources.  Most Architectural offices call in varous manufacturers for a lunch hour presentation of their products or wares which basically makes a joke out of the education part.   The architectural office requires the vendor or manufacturers representative to furnish pizza or cold-cuts for lunch to draw as many people in the office as possible.  Rarely have I learned very much of any value during these presentations.  Since I no longer work in an organized office I don't even have access to these sham "continuing education" lunches and I don't really see how I will be able to meet the requirements.  If this becomes the law then there needs to be a grandfather clause to cover those of us who are of advanced age who will lose our licence to practice architecture.  I am against this change to the regulations.
