Reparative therapies are client choices

Basic tenants of social work include that a client and their counselor choose what they discuss. To chose and select certain therapies that you disagree with and ban them is censorship-a suppression of speech, idealogies and counseling methods with which one disagrees. Further, this issue should be resolved at the voting booth rather than the counseling board. For example, I disagree with hypnosis, but would not prevent a client or their therapist from their choices for that therapy.
