Rapid transition to clean forms of energy is urgently necessary to combat global warming resulting from the burning of fossil fuels if we want to bequeath a livable planet to our children and grand children.

This transition has the advantage of providing green tech jobs of the future. Moreover, distributed solar and other forms of renewable energy projects will add resiliency to the national electricity grid.

I therefore urge Virginia's Energy plan to RETAIN incentives like NET METERING while simultaneously eliminating artificial barriers that stifle job creation and hurt Virginia solar contractors.

It is therefore imperative to "Expand" and "Enhance" Rooftop Solar programs for Virginians.  We will all benefit from a cleaner and healthier environment.
