I support Shenandoah Riverkeeper and Potomac Riverkeeper’s efforts to change the Construction General Permit process to ensure Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) are made available to the public for every constructions site proposed within the Commonwealth. I also ask the Commonwealth legislative and executive branches to do more to protect streams that are already “impaired” from additional damage by sediment running off existing and future construction sites.
