PTs should absolutely be allowed to continue to perform dry needling.  PTs are trained professionals and this is yet another skill that they can put into use with the other modalities at their disposal to achieve the best outcome for their clients. With appropriate training and certification in the practice of dry needling there is no reason to not allow PTs to perform this.
