Dry Needling is a form of acupuncture, period. It is out of Physical Therapy's scope of practice. The PTs are seeking to expand their scope of practice to do Dry Needling with minimum training for this invasive procedure. It should be stopped for the public's safety. Just like I would against PTs to perform simple surgery on anyone even thought they may have learned the basic medical knowledge a surgeon has learned.
