Please do not allow PT's to do needling. It is unsafe, and they are not trained to the same degree as Acupuncturists are.  It is akin to allowing nurses to finish up surgeries. The surgeon did all the work....all that's left is the cleaning up and suturing of body. Not an issue for a nurse to finish that right? I mean as long as you give them a weekend or two of training it would be totally safe!! Please hear the sarcasm in this brief soapbox discussion. Do what is right and stop this from happening.
