Dry Needling Effective

Dry  needling has been proven to be effective for pain relief and enhancement of rehabilitation treatment.  Dry needling is a form of modality that physical therapists can use on their patients, and it differs from acupuncture in that there is no medication involved in dry needling, but rather release of irritable trigger points in musculature through the use of needles.  Dry needling is safe, it is effective, and physical therapists have the knowledge and skill set to implement this modality to ensure a more well-rounded treatment approach.
