I oppose this regulation

I oppose the Governor's prohibition of concealed Carry firearms within state executive agencies. First, the governor's own documentation clearly states that no data exists to support the notion that a risk exists. Secondly, by prohibiting concealed firearms by law abiding citizens, the Governor is increasing the risk to state employees and citizen users, that a criminal, knowing full well that everyone is disarmed, may freely carry out his/her criminal behavior without objection. Concealed Carry permit holders are a very law abiding segment of the population, and the risk of criminal behavior from that segment is less than 1%. That would indicate no risk, and thus approval of this regulation would involve a further waste of taxpayer funds to mitigate a non-existent threat. Therefore, I strongly OPPOSE the Governor's regulation.
