As a resident of NC and frequent patron of VA, the news of the new law rejecting NC CC permit is outrageous! The VA requirements to obtain a CC permit are laughable compared to NC! And online test and no submission of fingerprints for a start! I had to pay for an 8 hour class and pass a written test and range shooting portion. After that, I had to pay an application fee to the state, submit fingerprints and go thru an extensive background AND mental health check. Show me where VA requires all of that!!!!!
