I am a licensed PT and acupuncturist in California.  I oppose PT practicing 'dry needling' techniques because I believe that any treatment techniques puncturing the skin are not within PT's scope of practice.  If PTs want to practice using needles, be an acupuncturist, a nurse or a MD.
