A gun ban is nonsensical.

I am opposed to banning guns in VA.  Criminals, lunsatics, and terrorists will not obey the ban so ony the bad guys will have guns. The polic will not get a shooting scene in time to save some lives. A good citizen with a gun could save those lives. I live in PA. For 30+ years my wife and I have vactioned in VA in the Shenendoah Valley in summer, visited Richmond, Williamsburg, and VA Beach for long weekend excursions, and have done fall foliage trips there in the fall. In 2015 we spent $4700 in VA. We will not be doing that again because my PA license to carry a concealed firearm will no longer be recognized and a gun ban will certainly mean that open carrying a gun, currrently legal, will become illegal. Goodbye VA unless you change your ways when it comes to my Second Amendment Rights. If I ever go to a gun free place, I'll visit Russia.
