As a patient, I've been seeing accupuncturist for years. It works very well for me. So I believe that having a accupunture treatment is not just as a simple needlring skill set. It involves a full medical knowledge of patient diagnotic and treatment procedures, and understanding the centrics of Chinese medicine methodologies. I will not trust any person with only a 54 hours training can do the proper, accurate, and exact accupuncture treatments to patient. Unless, if a PT is operating the dry needling in under the supervision of a licensed accupunctrist, then I might consider that operation is reliable.
