Support AAMA position on DN

http://www.medicalacupuncture.org/ForPhysicians/AbouttheAAMA/AAMAPositionStatement.aspx

"AAMA requirements for practice membership of US and Canadian licensed physicians are 200 hours of formal approved education, consisting of 120 hours of didactic education and 80 hours of clinical training. An additional 20 hours and two years of clinical acupuncture practice are required to meet eligibility for Full Practice Membership. AAMA affirms the necessity of 50 hours of approved continuing education in acupuncture every three years for continued membership."

DN is Acupuncture.  As such PT should meet or exceed the stardards equal to Medical Physicians (M.D., D.O.) in order to practice acupuncture.  54 hours of training is a inadequate level of training to qualify a physical therapist to safely insert acupuncture needles into patients and the regulations therefore are a serious threat to public safety.
