Another afront to the Law Abiding Citizen

Once again a government official, through overreaching Executive Orders, is targeting the very people he is proclaiming to keep safe, the law abiding citizen. This executive order is a solution to a non-existent problem as there have been zero shootings at any state office. This proposed regulation to also ban conceal handgun permit holders from legally carrying their firearms will also place some persons in an undue dangerous situation. The governaor has porposed takign firearms away from those charged / accused of domestic battery but this regulation will also take a level of protection away from their victims as well. As a firearms instructor I have taught more than one woman how to safely use a firearm in defense of their person after they had been the victim of a domestic abuser. This regulation is taking away their ability and right to self preservation. True domestic abusers do not care about a court ordered piece of paper but will quickly back away when confrotned with a victim who is able to defend themself.

I urge you to reconsider this illogical regulation that in the end will put more innocent lives in danger and wind up costing the tax payer of the state in unneccessary fees defending this EO in court.
