The governor's proposed permanent ban on firearms in all state buildings create gun-free zones which are also target-rich environments for evil-minded people.  By taking away the ability of average citizens to defend themselves without increasing security proportionally, the governor's message is "Your lives are not as important as my beliefs..."  Really?
