Gun control encourges racism by not allowing self defense in public and private

This proposed regulation will not have the intended affect and will be playing into the hands of racist, terrorists, violent criminals, and the criminally insane who thrive on the defenslessness of the victims/citizens..  There have been no shootings in state agencies or business by law abiding conceled carry permit holders and this prohibition on those with a concealed handgun permit, some of whom have active and ongoing threats to their lives, is entirely without any justification and needlessly and recklessly endangers innocent lives and appears to politically motivated.

Disarming good citizens (who are the only ones likely to obey the prohibition) does not make them safer. I have yet to meet a criminal who will obey the law.  Criminals are predators who prey on those less able or unwilling to defend themselves and have no interest in obeying laws imposed by others intended to restrict their actions.

This is an edict based regulation imposed by the Governor who does not have the authority to impose this regulation.  If the General Assembly wanted the Governor to have this power, it would have granted to his office explicitly, as is required constitutionally. Edicts are historically used by dicatators to impose their will on disarmed citizens who are unable to defend themselves.

This proposed regulation/edict endangers state employees, law abiding citizens, travelers others by making state buildings (which include rest stops, state parks, etc.) a safe zone for terrorists, criminals, and the criminally insane to conduct their criminal, evil and savage actions.

How does this administation intend to protect those who work in those areas or areas leading to those state buildings which are now to be gun free target zones.  If parking lots are included in the ban, then citizens will be disarmed to and from their residences and everywhere in between and thus be open targets for criminals and terrorist who look for the weak to prey upon.

This regulations should not be approved and I strongly oppse its implemation.  The emergency regulation should be withdrawn.
